Timothy has provided consulting for CAPE (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment) regarding Southeast Asian representation in media, and has regularly contributed to Lao/Laotian American projects and initiatives via Little Laos on the Prairie and the SEAD Project (Southeast Asian Diaspora). Through the Lao American Writers Summit, Timothy has also spoken on panels about filmmaking as an LGBTQ+ Lao American.
Another form of consulting and knowledge sharing Timothy has pursued is virtual panels – such as creative media panels with Refugenius and HowlRound. With several other LGBTQ+ Southeast Asian Artists, Timothy also hosted a Lao New Queer virtual panel to mark Lao New Year 2564 (2021) and 2566 (2023).
